Eric Meyer, the co-founder and Brewmaster of Cahaba Brewing Company in Birmingham, AL has always had a love of water and great beer. From his days working with the Jefferson County Stormwater Management Authority, Eric grew to understand and appreciate the Cahaba River and the importance of clean drinking water and habitat health. Cahaba Brewing, like the rest of Birmingham, relies on the Cahaba River for 50% of its potable water. The business regularly partners with area environmental nonprofits to raise awareness for local water quality issues.
