Le’Kedra Robertson founded the Milne Inspiration Center (The MIC) in 2012 as an organization that could engage young people of color in New Orleans to become the next generation of leaders. Youth meet with inspirational guest speakers and mentors, travel to visit colleges and cultural institutions, and learn entrepreneurial and job skills. Additionally, the program operates in partnership with organizations in South Africa, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and relationships between young people in both countries. www.micamped.org
