Founded in 1988, Cahaba River Society’s mission is to restore and protect the Cahaba River Watershed and its rich diversity of life. Their work impacts the central Alabama watershed, the Birmingham metro area, and policy at the state, regional, and national level. Their programs achieve three goals:
